We thought you might like to know something about us. Chris lives in Lincoln, Montana, the home of Devine Morgans, and Jeanne lives in Red Bluff, California, the home of Baymount Morgans. We met in the fall of 1996. Jeanne's husband was hunting in Wyoming. The weather was bad and Jeanne thought a motel sounded warmer than a tent, so she headed north on a horse trip. First stop was Chris' place in Montana. We hit it off and have been friends ever since. In the year 2000, we decided to go in on a stallion together. Starbuck is one lucky horse as he found a winter home in California and a summer home in Montana! Chris also stands Joel, a 1983 stallion she has had since he was a yearling. Our foals are all ranch-raised. They are raised in a herd of all ages on large acreage. They learn to negotiate around trees, holes and through water. They learn where they stand in the pecking order of the herd. We feel this is an important part of their up bringing. Disposition is very important to us as is breeding for traditional Morgan traits. We also like good looking heads and full manes and tails. We are very passionate about these magnificent creatures of God.
